Oxford, Ohio (February) – This year, the U.S. Open Beer Championship will award medals in 124 malt beverage categories. Every year, more categories have been added as brewers continue to develop new styles of beer or revive old styles. The following new categories have been added to the 2019 U.S. Open.

Call for Entries
This year, the U.S. Open is in Oxford, OH (Just outside of Cincinnati). Beers will need to arrive between May 20 – May 31. Each brewery may enter a maximum of 8 beers. Entry fee will be $75 per beer/root beer/Non-Alcoholic. A brewery must submit a minimum of 5 beers to be considered one of the Top Ten Breweries. 124 malt beverage categories will be judged this year. Winners will receive a medal in the shape of a beer stein for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The Top 10 breweries overall will be featured in on BeerInfo.com. Along with the medals awarded, a Grand National Champion accolade will be awarded based on a point system for beers (5 minimum) entered in the competition.
