With an abundance of impressive labels, the U.S. Open Beer Championship also recognized 8 other highly meritorious works with an Honorable Mention.
The U.S. Open also awarded the Founder’s Award, a special award presented each year by the U.S. Open’s Founder, Dow Scoggins. Dow has a love for trains and once rebuilt a 1900 Pullman railroad car, this year, he discovered several labels with Train Art. Thus, he awarded Whistle Hops’ Pale By Rail Pale Ale the Founder’s Award for awe-inspiring steam engine artwork.
